This print is a homage to the famous wartime photographer Robert Capa, specifically to his photograph "The Death of a Loyalist Soldier" also known as "The Falling Soldier" which he took during the Spanish civil war. Tumarkin himself was a wartime photographer and journaslist during the Yom Kippur War. Later, in 2004, Tumarkin created an outdoor sculpture with a similar design to this print, titled "Freedom Isn't Free", which was installed in Natanya.
